If you have an older gopro that doesn't record in HD then you don't need a converter, or if you use the newest version of Windows Live Movie...
I broke my LED tails trying to open them up... I would just find some niteshade and paint the outside, then run LED bulbs inside.
I have it.... I just don't like the interface as much as Windows Movie Maker lol
