You can separate the grill and surround, It's Just a couple plastic tabs holding it on. Swapping the whole thing out takes about 15 minutes....

You can tuck 295s just fine on stock wheels. The biggest you can fit with a 2" level would be 315/70R17s, or whatever the metric equivalent of...
The shuddering while passing could be the spark plugs, especially if they're still stock at 155k. The jolting is defintly the torque converter....

A slight tick is nothing, all the 5.4 3v do that. It gets a little quieter when you use 5w-30 oil. Go on YouTube and listen to bad cam phasers....

I would wait till 3000mi then change over to whatever full synthetic you like. I use Royal Purple, but it doesn't matter that much
