see from what i read, the external mic needs a battery because the 3.5mm jack on the gopro doesn't have power going to it so the mic needs its own...

Yeah i'm pretty sure 6.4's have the dpf's, make sure you get a custom tune if you cut out dpf's.
So does a misfire usually throw a code and CEL? and is it usually a Cop going out?
