Over pressure can cause flooding. I didn't recall ya upgraded the fuel pump?
How about the needle and seats? Metering jets control fuel flow, floats regulate fuel amount in fuel bowl accelerator pump gives more gas...
I know if the float is stuck or doesn't work flooding can occur. If ya pull it apart to check the float, ya may as well get a rebuild kit.
