My efans only run when the truck has been sitting at idle or if the ac is on. They don't have a need to run if I'm going down the road.

I still think it's the water pump or a radiator hose. If it was the fan clutch, it wouldn't overheat driving down the road above 40 mph.

Depending on how everything is set up, a bagged truck can ride way better than a stock or static truck. My s10 rode awesome way better than any...

its not the fan clutch.. I suspect a water pump or collasping radiator hose Check to see if the upper hose is hot and lower is cold.
