Lol outside air is outside air no matter where you live. Think about how much air is going into your engine bay at 65mph, its not spending...
idk about the cold air business. My JLT (which sucks in as much hot air as any other) reads 10* above ambient while driving, same as stock.... [IMG]

It just looks cleaner and makes it a little louder. The baffles just reduce the harmonics of the air going into the intake. Nice job :peace:
