In that case, I'm almost certain it has the Motorcraft Synblend. I'd hold off till that 3k mark. Then go full synthetic. I use Mobil 1.
I'm assuming you purchased it brand new? If so, Motocraft oil is all synblend now if I'm not mistaken. I'm almost 100% sure that's what's in it....
It's most likely already running the Motorcraft Synblend from the factory, by the way.
