    its just the same as the dimmer switch on the dash factory right? now you have 2?

    Basically but the cluster may not be a full 12 volts. I would hook that dimmer up and check the voltage coming from the wires. If its 12 volts, the you should be good to go.

    I had gauges like that in my mustang, and i didnt use the dimmer switch, I just hid it behind the gauge cluster. I never really dim my gauges anyways

    ^ya I dont either. I was thinkin about hookin it up and leaving the switch on full blast and just tucking it up behind the dash.

    thomas, is all I do is just take off the clear cover to my guages and pull the needles off then put that one on top? or do I remove my factory one?

    hahaha I dont think i will be using a sawza to do it...ima usin my chain saw. its a lot faster :lol:
