just looking at my options, if I want to run 37s, or even want to be able to run a 37 easy or a 35 hard I may want to start looking at getting a D44 snout mounted on a custom spindle, its bolt on instead of press (feeakin awesome!) however that would chang my bolt pattern to 5x5.5....

for the rear I could run adapters to 5x5.5 or up front run adapters to 5x135...OR Fuel makes the Hostage in a 5x135/5.5 pattern...which I could easily run..however theyre not a beadlock like I wanted...theyre a nice wheel but not my fav. I did read one article of a guy who took a 9.75 axle shaft and drilled it to 5x5.5...I guess I could do that...but would get expensive if I needed to replace it as it would all be custom...

If I bought a set of wheels with a 5x135 pattern, could I have them second drilled to 5x5.5?

just get the fuels. Mine are dual drilled 5x135 and 5x5.5 and pretty much all of their wheels look awesome, but most don't go smaller than a 17" wheel
