besides the midtravel with fiberglass: make my light switches/fuse box all one piece and get everything covered up and ziptied.

Then its on to sound system. radio thats more about playing music than having cool features like touch screen.

for now keep my subs, but get a mono amp that will support them and then some. Also get a 4-way amp for the aftermarket speakers I have waiting. and put my 2 channel amp thats "powering" my subs now and wire it up to power my 6x9s.

hopefully by this time I will have graduated school, got my P.E. and a good job with good income so I can buy a tube bender.

thats correct, a tube bender. nothing else...just a bender. :peace:

    Good news:

    1. Graduated College with a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology
    :big_banana_Dance:

    2. I got a full time job as a Solidworks design engineer. WOOT! (start Aug 25th)
    3. Currently living at home till after my 2 month review at said new job to make sure its a good fit for me, then ill buy a house or something...
    4. NO RENT!!!!

So while I am living at home I wanted to do something other than sit on my computer which it what I do most of the day at the job I work now.. and home just so happens to be where my truck is!

While I would like to take the bumper off, suspension...etc I cannot because I have limited amount of time after work each day.

So I'm tackling some wiring that severely needed organizing:

First up I took out my center console, labeled which wires went to which lights

Then I made a mount for my fuse panel and relays

I did reuse some connectors (that were already crimped on, I added the heat shrink), otherwise I added new connectors. All wires are cut to a custom length, heat shrink wrap and its lookin purdy!

I modified my console to fit the switches better, I do plan to redo the box in due time. With this new wiring it will be easy to swap out fuses, switches since the wires will be color coded.

Wont get back to workin on this till Sunday/ next week. Next plans are to start wiring up the switches, the PA and CB are easily wired up, they dont need a relay just a ground and pwr.
