Alright sorry guys i been off the site for a while, been doing alot of work to the truck plus work got me doing alot.
The next step after ordering all the parts was how the 4link was going to get set up. I decided since the tranny crossmember had to be removed a new one was going to have to be made. I figured I should do something big to protect the tranny since i plan on wheeling the truck alot. I then took a trip down to the local shop and got a 1/2in thick metal plate. This was going to be a belly plate to protect the tranny, transfer case and where the 4 link would connect from the D44. The problems that first arrived the Transmission was lower which was a problem since the plate was bolting to the frame. Also the driveshaft angle required a cut out to. The plate was so thick the plasma cutter didnt even stand a chance cutting it and took a grinder and time. I will post pictures of the plate soon. and then start on the next step.
damn this is kick ass. i was watching Xtreme 4x4 this weekend and they started to do a tear down of a tahoe to put in a SAS. got me watchin now... good luck bro!
