    I under thought it too.
Didn't expect it was the TC
    and front pump engagement problem.

    Sorry for your woes Chris.
Maybe you can catch a break in the weather soon.

Thank you! It will all work out!

Ha ha! It never got above 45 today up here, and typhoon style showers throughout the day. It's amazing how different it can be up here, from King County. Sometimes it works in our favor, other times.. not. Lately, it'll be a nice day, until I get home, and get my tools out. Ha ha ha

Sounds like you need a carport with a buddy heater!

Well, no work on the truck today because it's super crappy out. However I did discover what my problem is! The doner motor/trans I got must have been a 7700. I used the TC off the younger trans (which happens to be a 4r100). So I'm assuming I installed it properly, but it's simply the wrong TC. Go friggen figure, I left my old TC outside right side up, and the rain snuck up on me.. so I'll be purchasing a new TC.

And yes, I would absolutely love a carport with heater to work under!

Not sure what your situation is with junkyards...

But when I rounded off a nut on my torque converter, I had to cut it off which damaged the threads. I went up to my local junkyard and there just so happened to be an 03 lariat screw that just got the engine pulled and I could just reach down and grab the TC out of it. Only cost me 25 bucks too.

Are you going to stick with stock, or upgrade to a higher stall?

I thought about that. I'd hate to get something that might have been collecting dust on a shelf in a wrecking yard. Or go through the trouble of pulling it myself. You got lucky man! Ha ha

I just bought a re-man off ebay, with free shipping for $126 Ford Aode 4R70W Torque Converter Reman with Warranty 4 Stud USA | eBay

No need for a higher stall point. I am by no means a drag racer, and almost never stab it. If I do, it's only to pass a really stupid driver! Ha ha

    Chris

Edit: If this was me 10 years ago, and had the money, you bet your ass I would have gone with a higher stall:crazy:

Lol yeah I was planning on upgrading but this happened after the engine was built and I wasn't planning on spending anymore money on it..

300 bucks for brand name performance VS junkyard 25 dolla stocker.
