So I am picking up a Factory OEM Headunit, Navi, for $170. I thought that was a steal. No scratches or anything. What you guys think?

Looking forward to seeing how it turns out. What do you need the flash for?

Not a bad deal at all. Does it include everything you need?

its lacking the actual nav antenna, but i dont need nav for anything. I'll actually be getting the Lock-Pick so I can have video or backup camera while in drive.

the truck actually doesnt read that there is a headunit in the vehicle. the flash allows it to be ran by the ECU. even though I am not hookin up the Nav, it still wont operate until it gets flashed. the unit does flash the ford logo when I hit the power, which is typical until it gets done. all the dealers have radio guys, but only M-F 8-11a so i'll have news monday @ lunch hopefully.

I didnt even think about that. I'll get some takin tomorrow. Its pretty simple.

The plastic bezel surrounding the radio/hvac systems just pulls off. You can get some needle nose pliers and pry right by your dash tray and it will come lose. Next, the radio is held in by 4 7mm bolts. After the bolts are removed, gently pull the radio out. It will only come a few inches, just enough to get your hands behind it. Now there are 2 plugs (3 if you have nav) that need to be unplugged. Don't forget to yank the orange wire out the back bottom corner as well (this is the AM/FM antennna). Just reverse for install.
