Well here is my problem right now sorry, turns out that is just a metal sleeve and think I need COB now
as soon as I find out a way to get to the auto part store, since I am not driving my truck the way it is right now
so turns out the ticking noise I was hearing wasn't a misfire, but a rocker arm. basically what happened is the dumbass I am forgot to plug in the vehicle and it got down to -30, so I went out in the morning and plugged it in for an hour or so went back out to start it. apparently that oil was still thick enough to throw the rocker arm off the guide rod (not enough oil pressure according to the mechanic) and just not working right and kept back firing and popping into the intake. so they took off the valve cover and fixed the problem. $200 dollars later I have my truck back and I am a happy camper right now.
