I even tried to rationalize the purchase
of the first $4K Bronco using this other POS 1973
$12K Bronco as a price comparison of value.

IMO even though what's under the hood isn't mentioned,
wheels, lift kit and missing parts do not make up the
$8K difference in the asking price.

I'm sure if I wanted to replace all the kitchen cabinets with $4K
worth of refacing and we did the labor she would go for that purchase.

That looks great! My parents had a VW wagon when I was a kid. I still have pictures of me in front of it.

 

If the first one was rough and rotted and body in bad shop and the second one was perfect metal, that's worth a ton.
Just to give you an idea I spent around 10 grand just on sheetmetal for the fastback... Not including replacing it...

Now the second one still looks rough so not worth te difference and the cuttin of the fenders looks rather novice
