Me and the gf are looking at getting this truck from one of her friends. It's a 1976 F100 with the 360, stick shift, 4x4, bumpers, and I was told not much rust.....

We are going to look at it Monday or Tuesday. He is asking $2,000, I am going to take it, but only offer 1,500 or so depending on how it looks in person.

And 2,000 seems high to me.......

That's a nice truck. If he's asking $2000 he's probably only looking at getting about $1500. Unless some idiot gives him $2k first :jester:

Take some pics of the motor when you get it :headbang:

1500 seems fair to me. Looks to be pretty solid with minimal body damage. Not a bad score IMO. :waytogo:

For an old truck from the pictures it looks really clean. I would turn that into a light wheeling truck since its already got the bumpers, add a winch and 4'' lift on 33's and you got a weekend full of fun.

It would be a yard truck, light wheeling. Would probably clean it up with new paint, or rhino the entire thing, inside and out.

It would be good to go to the back of my property to get fire wood, pull trees, stuff like that
