i plan on starting to work on my 78 w/400 again when all the snow stops... i got to change the power valve and wheel cylinders and she will be road ready... but i want to give her a face lift. what do yall think i should do and that would look good? what id like to do: paint red flat bed w/duallys black windows lights ect. black tool box true straight duals infront of rear tires chrome billet grille diffrent wheels black push bar(bull bar) that goes where the bumper guards should be lift it 2-4 inches what i have done to get it running(had been sitting for 9 years): stainless breaks from the master cylinder back droped gas tank put in new sending unit flushed radiator new spark plugs changed oil new brain box new battery
lose the running boards..new wheels and tires..sport rake..and re-paint it black..tinit the windows and straight pipe it!
I'm with batman on the running boards. And the sob is loud as crap now with glass packs its gonna be ridiculously annoying straight piped out the side.
^ X2 maybe not those rims... but don't put a flatbed on, unless that current bed is rusted out. Just find some dually fenders and make it look factory.
Smooth out the stock bed and lose the running boards, new paint. That's all I'd do to it. It looks like a solid truck.
