Alright might be buying a short bed reg. Cab f150, has a rebuilt 5.0 but old tranny, current owner says it slips going into 2nd from 1st.

Any ideas what that might be, will the tranny need a rebuild? I know it's not much info to go on but any and all possibilities would be a help. Thanks.

    It's the e40d

from the small amount of information that you have for us it either needs a rebuild (which is probably the case) or needs a tranny fluid flush and filter
