E4OD will run you between 15 and 2000 rebuilt by a good shop. Do yourself a favor first and put a permacool external filter inline between the transmission and cooler, change the fluid in the pan and the pan filter and run the truck 1-2K miles then change the trans fluid again. It saved both my AOD in my 87 and my E4OD in my 96.
