My father and I have always wanted to do a car project together but never got the chance until now. He found 2 Z28's on cl for $2k and he bought one and I bought one. Mine is a 1993 and his is a 1995. I don't have any pics of his yet but I'll post one as soon as I do. He just plans on taking his to some car shows and basically just having something fun to drive and work on. His buddy is also hooking us up with a donor car with a good body.
As far as I know mine just needs a computer and I t should start up. Once I get it running and know that everything works good I'm going to put all my focus on the suspension. Adjustable coilovers front and rear, upgraded sways bars, etc. I'm also getting my cousin to build me a 10 pt cage. Anyways, here are some pics of where it's at right now. Kind of rough looking bit I'll focus on the exterior once the motor and suspension are good.

Nice project. My buddy has a 95 z28 thats hes building into a drag car. Hes always got something going on with it but I know he he just built a new intake manifold to hold a carb and hes running a wet shot too. Its pretty quick.

Thanks. I was going the drag route and was going to put the 383 stroker motor that's sitting in the garage in it because it's pushing a little over 500hp but the distributor sits in the back side of the motor and in these cars, the motor sits pretty far back so I would have to modify the fire wall. But I think I'll have tons of fun autocrossing.

Nice! Looks like a cool project to me. I've always liked the early 90s camaros.

I've not always loathed F Body's, I wanted an Iroc Z in high school more than anything. I was still a Ford fan back then, but I loved the way those Irocs looked back then. No Jo, I didn't say Crocs, I said Irocs :jester:
