Hello, I am new here so thank you up front for any advise you can share. At our VFD we have a 1999 Ford F350 club cab. With our 250g water tank and gear etc the truck is heavy in the back. We had our local FFA group make a bed for our truck and it is heavy. We estimate roughly 3k with the 250lb tank. So we have the F350 1 ton 4x4. We are tight on funds. We have someone willing to donate a F450 dual axle. How hard would the swap be? Could we just direct swap the axle? What would be needed. We do have access to some talented welders.
