2 4x4 questions....

    you guys see what i mean by the different answers. i have a 03 screw lariat 4x4 stock, what would be a safe speed to stay at?

    Im gonna agree with what i've seen above...
    4HI no faster than 45, I think its even in the manual
    4LO I would just keep the rpms at a reasonable level. If it sounds like its gonna blow......it just might if you hold it long enough lol

    4hi should be around 55
    4lo should only be used to crawl out, I don't think I've used it over 15mph...

    true...but the question remains...top speed in 4hi and 4 lo...so i stick to my origanal statement

    Only one way to know for sure. Put it in 4 hi and take off and keep an eye on speed and when something breaks you'll know thats your limit. Fix it and do the same for 4 lo. Fix it again and dont go over the two speeds you came up with.:ROFLJest:
