Will do. Hoping it doesn't put up too much of a fight and that I can do it on the car.

no repair pics, was doing multiple things at one time. smoking my first chicken, cooking breakfast, installing my brothers rear bumper and working on the escape.

escape turned out to be a pain.

got that tool from harbor freight for $95, made pressing the bearing in and out unbelievably easy.

the hard part was getting the hub pressed into the bearing. got the bright idea of using the slide hammer to smack the hub in, messed that bearing up. got it replaced for free and went and got some dry ice to try and shrink the shaft on the hub enough to push it in place.

dry ice helped a little. ended up using the slide hammer again and smacking the hub far enough in so that I could put the big thick washer and nut on the stud. once I got that on, I just tightened the nut and it pulled everything together.

hub/bearing is solid, not the slightest amount of play and no grinding.

whats the easiest way to press a hub into a bearing without taking it off the vehicle????
