Just wanted the newer truck owners to be aware. Looked under my truck the other day just for giggles, notices a slight leak coming from tranny bell housing. Appointment at Ford today, mech stated its definately a leak, possibly just the inner seal, they will let me know. Turns out the torque converter, pump, and inner seal all went bad. When they were talking to the "warehouse" i guess these parts are on back order, so im assuming that would only entail that this occurs a lot. My truck like i said is a 2011 XLT 5.0, 2500 miles on it. I dont drive hard, took it to the outer banks once, for a little beach wheelin' but thats it.

I love it! very responsive. no lag at all when trying to get up and go on the freeway. and good high end pickup for trying to pass. it did really well off road in the deep sands of north carolina too.

Wll, got the truck back yesterday. Replaced tq conv, and seals. Drove it to the offroad shop to pick up my buddy's truck, she had fluid on the bell housing, cleaned it, drove home, then to work this am, more fluid. She's back in the shop for round 2.
