The engine tech is there, big oil has been paying them to
run crappy mileage engines for years, IMO.

Meh, a couple years on a body style, not very cost effective.
Seems to be the norm now instead of running 5-7 years with the same
tooling for panels in sheet metal stamping.

I sure there are several automotive spies out there working
overtime to get the latest design, laying for weeks wearing a ghillie suit
with a 84 Meg cam - 800mm camera lens in the bushes outside Ford's Proving Grounds.

Then rushing to mock parts trying to be the first
to best massage the look of the oh'15 Mustang for their
aftermarket product line in it's debut at SEMA 2015.

^^Ford will have already sent a couple of test mules to certain "favorite" companies long before the public gets a real first glimpse too. Their select favorites that is.

A 4 banger Stang isn't unheard of. Back when I was a teenager the SVO was introduced and I actually liked those cars. I like this EcoBoost 4 banger. It most likely means America could finally get a Fiesta RS, possibly even a boosted Fusion SVT, who knows

Lol you'd be surprised where these cars show up!
My brother took the first spy shots of the s197 bullit mustang 5 years ago in middle of no where PA
He was out in his 07 GT/CS when he heard an s197 on the other side of the parking lot, couldn't tell if it was black or highland green so he followed it.
The guy let him look it over really quick before putting a cover on it with locking straps to go inside to eat.
Also saw a gt500 before production about 40 miles from where he saw the bullit

Of course that wasn't a whole new body style though

They intentionally expose some of the car to keep the hype built up. Chevrolet is doing that right now with the new Corvette.

I like the headlights in the first post. Looks like the route everyone is taking is putting turbo's on smaller engines. Interesting...
