dude, i laugh every damn time someone says "BUILT FROM CAD" well no ****. no one LeROY's anymore (shows my age right there). Just hilarious. But here is a link to their actual CAD drawings (another reason I was sold on them). 04-08 F150 long travel system by Brenthel Industries - Pirate4x4.Com Bulletin Board And Jarrett, I was thinking about that last night drinkin a beer, and yea, i'd rip the fender apart if i used the whole 12-14" of travel lol. but again, it would just make the truck that much more unique so i'm still down. be easier to install the LT kit if the fenders were all off the truck anyways
I guess I need to throw away all my napkins then ..... Reminds me I need to find me a cracked copy of mechanical desktop or solidworks
Exactly! Off topic but a buddy of mine with a pathfinder cut his front fenders so he can squeeze 35 (hes the only one he knows thats not runnin sas and 35s) wanna see pics? But you probably wont have inner fender wells and there will be a lot of body roll when turning and when you accelerate it will pull up the front and vise versa when braking. But ull have a very smooth ride otherwise And boom goes the dynamite.
yea i know the suspension is "soft" when braking/accelerating. but mind you, this will all be done after I get another rig since I cant very well haul 2YDS of mulch on a LT suspension lol. and yea, if you wanna post up pics, i'll gladly check em out.
Vano your truck is gonna look amazing with long travel CAD is so much better than looking at actual pics of suspension. that's what sold me on the rough country lift. i just like the design of the LCA bracket how it follows the curves of the crossmember versus other lift kit designs that are straight across. Of course i'd take out that fugly huge spacer and replace it with a bilstein strut and a 1.5" level
hey Adrian welcome to the site! go to the introduction section and make a thread wit pictures of your truck to introduce yourself to everyone on the site
