Okay I was just wondering for future reference what all is done in this swap? Would a 5.4.be easier or just build up the 4.6 with heads, cams, and maybe sc? this will be just for future reference in case something happens to mine. I have heard that 4.6's make most of there power in the high rpms which would make the 5.4 a better motor in my case(35 inch tires) since it is more of a torque motor, but this swap may require for a lot to change. MODS MOVE TO ENGINE SECTION, I FORGOT WE HAD ONE.

I'd go with a built up 4.6 if you're only planning on just sticking a stock 5.4 in, imo.

200k miles ain't shyte on these motors. You have nothing to worry about. I haven't driven my truck in 3 weeks and the first time it hits the road will be panama city bound. I'm not worried at all. She'll have 205k when I get back.
