4x4 switch question

So my 4x4 is activated with a floor shifter. So my question is if I buy a 4x4 switch for running something other than the 4x4 if I ran power to the switch so it has power when I switch it to a selection, does it give a constant power. Again I am not wanting to run the 4x4 just use it as a switch.

 

why not a toggle?

you can hide it on the bottom of your dash like i did the nite...you have to reach under to find it....completly hidden

oh i feel you now. yes you can do that.would look much better than a toggle switch. just get an ohm meter and play with the pins until you find the right ones

 

dood i say use a NOS Switch....lol.

 

I will just have to bite the bullet and order me one eBay here I come
