5.4 4 valve

    Has anybody ever heard of a 5.4l 4 valve engine in the 04-08 f 150? Supposedly they didn't have as much trouble as the 3 valve engines. If you know about them, how can you tell when looking at the truck which engine it has?

    im pretty sure the 04-08 5.4l's are only 3 valves? i've never heard of a 4V

    That's why I'm trying to research...I know there was a 4 valve 5.4 for svt production but not sure about the normal f150's
