iv been looking for tuners since i need to recalibrate speedometer and also want a mpg tune and towing tune...now my dilemma i have a act handheld and act charges 150 to unlock it..and mike at 5 star charges 160 for two tunes which is what i need..so thats about $340 by the time I'm done...should i do this route or just buy everything together and a new sct from them for the $450
you can only get 2 tunes from 5 star? I thought they did 3? what act tuner do you have? If its good enough to hold the good tunes without problems then Id go that way. Ive heard good things about 5 star, thats where I would buy custom tunes from.
I would do the custom tunes and paying to get it unlocked. You'll be $100 ahead and have custom tunes, I don't see a downside.
