Well guys here's the plan for the new car an will keep updates on here. The overall theme for the car is gonna be a 65 gt350 r on the outside with a pony interior on the inside with a few comforts that the Shelby's deleted. Basically going to be a Shelby that is also street friendly. Replace all rusted sheet metal Subframe connectors Disc brakes all around with vents in bumper an side scoops functional R code apron Shelby fiberglass hood Pony interior Custom autosound radio Roll bar Shelby dash tach Rebuild 289 or build a 5.0 full roller I have in the shop I have for it Edelbrock torker hi rise intake Holley 715 cfm carb Decent cam Possibly roller rockers Hooker headers Dizzy converted to hei Hi perf radiator T-10 tranny Keep the ford 8" in it. 3.73 and posi Wimbledon white with gaurdsman blue stripes All new suspension front an rear including 1" drop coils and Shelby drop with 2" reverse eye lowering springs in rear 16x8 torque thrust rims I know I'm missing a lot of stuff but this will be the main direction. Basically it'll be a tastefully done Shelby tribute that from the outside an engine bay looks like a gt350r but inside will be nicer to accomadate every day driving. Here's a few pics
It'll be a full restoration and the body is much worse than in pics. Previous owners tried to repair rust improperly. I'm budgeting around $2500 for new panels an patches to fix the rust and previous attempts correctly. Going to sandblast the whole car soon and then will be ordering a ton of parts
by far my favorite mustang of all time. seeing what you did with the other one this one is going to be just as kick ass please post plenty of pics so i can drool. youre one lucky mother ****er to have the time and $$$ to do this **** man.
