Most aftermarket head-unit's power output is 16-18 watts RMS, peak power is not an accurate measure of true power.
You may have to trim the speaker opening in the metal of the door by .25 of an inch or so unless you surface mount them on top of the door panel.

I'm running 6x8 Cerwin Vegas IT-683 in the factory opening without an amp in the F250.

    6x8 Alpine S-507's in the Ranger with a Alpine MRP-M250 amp @ 40watts x 4.
6.5 component with a separate tweeter sound better but there is the added installation work.

alpine type s, rockford prime, boston acoustics se, jbl gt6-6, and infinity kappa have some good speakers for headunit power. Most speakers that do good off of headunit power are the company's lower lines.

go with those rockfords and i think youll be happy for a headunit speaker. Im running cadence cwm6 off of my headunit. They suck until broken in and for running off the headunit, they get low if you have anything deadened. they are decent but there are better for the money.

Cool.. looks like I'm gonna go with the rockfords..

I may get a set of decent componets later on if I ever decide to amp them but for now I just want to get rid of the blown speaker noise lol
