i Have a 2001 f150 with 5 bolt rims (as you all know that year is IMPOSSIBLE To find a nice set of rims for) I was thinking in 1998 they made f250s with arm suspension in their gas models. So Could i swap wheel bearing assembles out of a 1998 f250 to my f150 i Think the half shaft splines with go into the wheel bearing but will the bearing fit into the knuckle? I understand i would have to get new rotors and looking at the brake caliper part numbers (1998 f150 vs 1998 f250 they have different part numbers) but would it matter? and for the rear of the truck ill be getting a ford (steerling) 10.25 rear axle 8 bolt
or you could get some custom wheel spacers created to change your 5x135 to whatever pattern you want.
The 1998 F250 had the seven lug pattern, unless you're talking about the OBS, which still had a solid axle. It would be easier to do a swap from an 04+ so you would get the new 6 lug pattern.
Yeah i forgot ford did that i was looking into wheel bearing prices and i only saw 7 studs and was like what the .... that sucks still wouldnt even be able to find rims i guess what ill do is get wheel spaces that convert from 5 x 135 to 5x5.5 and get rims not hard to find rims then i found a whole set of rims 17 inch brand new name brand for 398 bucks cant go wrong..
