    Thanks a bunch guys, I'm happy with it. Got plans for a matching rear.

    I like the 3/16ths, its not too heavy, but its plenty strong. Not too expensive either.
    This pic shows it best, used 4, 1/2" grade 8 bolts through the factory brackets, then used 2 5/8" grade 8 bolts through the frame rail further back.

    I can probably make you one, since you aren't that far away.

    thanks man, I hear ya on the time, it took me 3 weeks to do that one, whereas if I had had the time to do it all at once, maybe a day and half.
