well not sure how the hell it happened but it did.

    Heres my codes:

    B1342- ABS module failure
    C1222-Speed sensor error (dynamic)
    C1115-Internal power relay
    C1220-yellow ABS light short
    U3FFF-?????

i had oreilly clear the codes but they came right back. at one point the scanner kept showing 6-7 codes after a code clear.

what i have read is that the ABS module is ****** lol

i checked mitchell out and they said to run the codes, clear the codes and if B1342 came back that i need to replace the module.

modules aint cheap so im probably goig to make a junk yard run to see if i can find me one for cheap....not looking to pay $300 for something you dont really need. i just hate warning lamps on the dash.

ive got the module unplugged from the truck and the pump right now. next step is to get the ABS module unscrewed....problem. module is held on with 4 torx screws. tried to put my torx bit in the screw and before i could get any force on it they all rounded. probably going to have to drill them all out....great.

just wondering if anyone else has had these codes or a problem with geting the module out?

yea me too. i drilled two of the four torx heads out and ive got most of the unit off....brute force usually breaks **** lol. if i cant find one ill just wait till i can. aint going to die without ABS lol

i did fine some rebuilt modules on ebay but im not sure. they were only $50. just wondering if i should bother wasting $50 on one.

for now ill just tape the module really good so no water or debris gets in it.

sounds like a good plan. abs can be a life saver or a pia, not sure which one wins lol. hard to say about the rebuilt ones, might be worth a shot if the junk yard doesn't have one.

yea ill see what i can find at the yard first. they have about 5 97-00 trucks. nothing newer than 2000 though.

the only other problem i see is if my ABS is different being that its a 7700. this module has the module # and then " F150 HEAVY" after the number.
