AC quit! need help!

    So i go out today to dust off the ol 50 thats been sittin in the garage for 2 weeks to take her for a cruise....and wa la....no AC! my truck is an 04 with 57k on the clock...blows hot as every and compressor is not even kicking on....it was ice cold and worked fine when i parked it 2 weeks ago....any ideas?

    Could be a number of things. First guess is low or no freon. Other guess would be low or high pressure switch, switch in dash, fuse or relay

    would it be low on freon even if it was ice cold just a couple weeks ago?

    youd be surprised how quick it can leak off...especially if it blew a seal or somtning

    would the compressor not run if it was low? mine wont kick on

    It can leak from just siting. My s10 did the same thing. I got in it one day and it had no ac. It had been sitting for about a month. Pulled a vacuum, did a leak test and it passed. Charged it back up and now it's ice cold again

    it coild lock up if its empty...i've heard of that happining...bust most likely its a fuse or relay
