thats exactly what its doing....guess i will try to run the ac again and see if the compressor starts to kick on again...if it does i know that some freon is stayin gin the system...did you have to replace anything when this happend to you? im nervous about tryin to put some more freon in....
don't be nervous about putting freon in. its not like you can put too much and blow your compressor off. the system will back pressure to the can and will prevent that from happening. I recommend getting some of this stuff that i have pictured below. its a large can so you can recharge the whole system if its completely dry. if this works however, i recommend you going down to a shop, getting all your freon removed, and running an AC filler through your system. this AC filler will fill all leaks and wholes, but it must be done w/out freon in your system. after you have ran the whole can, then you recharge w/ freon. here's the pic of the can i just used last friday (stays in the truck door) cuz my system was low and barely would get cold:
ok i will look into that....thinkin im gonna have one of my dads buddies look at my truck...he does ac repairs and cuts us a good deal...im just wanting to get this thing fixed and be done with it
