My 2009 f150 recently started having issues with the ac. Although the blower speed is on high, the air coming through the vents feels like it's on low.... really sucks and not enough to cool my truck...I live in South Texas, 100 degree weather. We replaced the resistor, didn't fix it... I've been told it may be a bad fan clutch. Any thoughts??...

    Welcome to fordfullsize.com

Could be something in the fan switch itself since you already tried the resistor fix.

Definitely not the fan clutch, that is the fan that cools the coolant in the radiator.
It it were going bad you would have an engine overheating issue.

I've been researching online since this issue started, I've also been thinking about the blend door actuator. What's your take

My understanding the blend door is switching blower
motor blown air from the heated heater core air
to the cooled a/c evaporator core air that would cause a
mix of both warm air coming out at all fan speeds
    Low-2-3-Hi

You may have a combination problem.
    Fan speed plus blend actuator.
There is a way the jumper the resistor to give the motor
full power thus verifying the on dash selector switch is bad.

I'm not much help repair wise on the newer F models, too old school.

Hoping some of the other members
who have blend door / fan switch repair experience will chime in.

Do you know if the 2009 has a cabin filter?

I find that hard to believe a dirty evap is blocking the fan from blowing on high.
    But I'm not there also.

Does the fan blow on high in defrost mode?
