so? you still need a key in all the high end cars that have this too. Its stops ppl from moving my truck around at work. I also installed a valet switch so that I can take to to the dealer and not have them worry about the key working or not
You put the key in and turn it to "ON" then hit the button to start. You have to have the key to unlock the steering wheel at the very least
nope, in my grandmas hyundai sonata all you do is get in, hold the brake down and push the button to start. then just put it in park and push it again to turn it off
my moms lexus you have no key abut you have to have the key fob within a certain number of feet or it wont start and if you drive off with out it the car dies
Nissan/Infinities have been on the push button start for years. Our Altima doesn't have a key, just a keyfob. That keyfob allows you to lock/unlock the doors, open the trunk and start the car. Once in the car you just press the brake and push the button. You can also play the stereo without the keyfob being in the car if you press the start button one time.
