Alternator is goin out.. Need a new one stat!

    Jarrett you would need a 4 gauge or larger wire,
    soldiered on wire terminals and 250-300 amp fuse from the
    positive terminal of the alternator to the battery.


    I'm going to FL in two weeks and already
    got birthday and father's day gifts and another IP camera
    or quicktifier would be here.

    Im thinkin about gettin some 0 ga wire. a fuse I can do. what kind of terminals should I get? I heard gold plated ones are best?

    I think copper ones would be fine.
    The "gold" plated one I kinda wonder
    just how much gold is really on them, after all gold is
    over $1500 an ounce not $400 like in the early 90's.

    Now they have some on ebay that claim are "platinum"
    plated, or is it tin plated?

    Soldiering wires to the terminals would be better than a crimp.
