so here's my thought, everyone likes to put newer clips on older trucks, what about an older clip on a newer truck? I'm thinking something from an '86, the only issue i see is that the front fender flare would be different than the rear but i may need to weld in new rear fenders anyway or one day put a flatbed on it since i'm contemplating new fenders for my truck anyway since they rusted that would be a good time to do it so here's my truck and here's what i'm thinking, by the way i love the look of old trucks with new wheels
I'm pretty sure that they all bolt up the same. You'll just need the entire front clip to make sure that the front end lines up with the fenders
I agree Jesse! And a 86 front clip would be awesome. Thats my favorite body style Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
if u do that it wont look like a newer truck with a older clip ....... its gonna look like a old truck ..... cuz everything is basically the same ... body line , tailights and all ....... u r gonna be drivin a 86 f150 is all
thats the idea, guys put newer clips on old trucks to make them look new, i wanna do the opposite, except i'm gonna have the looks of an older truck with the updated comforts of the '96
