    Just picked up some 1" pipe for that bottom portion of the traction bars from Competitive Metals in El Cajon. Those guys kick ass! Will have to wait til tomorrow to start on the next part... education calls.

    Did a little mock up of one of the traction bars. I need to notch the bottom bar, weld it to the joint and the top bar, weld the tube adapter into the top bar, and figure out what I'm gonna do to take up the space in between the bars.

    You should just put in some crossbars like the old school gassers had.
