2002 150 5.4 all stock. My brother drove his truck to my house today. Never had any trouble ever. Tonight went out to leave and would not start. Turns over no problem, getting fuel, just won't fire. No sweeping guages trying to start. Can smell fuel so I know its gettting fuel. Anyone experience similar

I would try to help if I knew what was wrong but honestly I have no clue what it could be..

Have you tried pulling the codes on it?

That was my first idea but then unless all 8 went bad at the same time it would atleast start.. just run like ****..

The security thing sounds like a good idea.. id check all your fuses too

sorry ricky, i just saw this thread.

have you tried unplugging the battery for awhile and restarting it.

also, there is a fuel reset button on the passanger side that may have been tripped. sounds more like this, i had this happen one time in my ranger.

let me know if this doesn't work

my truck did this once, i unplugged a bunch of clips and reconnected them. under the hood and messed around with the IAC, fired right up. also check ALL fuses. Some of the engine control fuses may prevent coil power
