Anybody using LED lights in there home?

I found some led lights at lowes that say they cost a average of $1.08 a year If that is true. As of now I am running 2 in my gate lites, one over my kitchen sink, 2 floods in my dog pin and one beside my couch. They are expensive as hell, but if they work they will last and save me some jack!!

Anybody else using LEDs in the house?

 

thats pretty neat...im interested to see how long they actually last before i ever dropped that kinda cash on a lightbulb lol

 

They are LEDs and most the ones I have are made by GE so we will see. I am replacing as they burn out. Can't afford all at one time!

they are expensive but well worth it. i have been using for a while and great output and so far none have went out.

 

i have a few j wal, just like you just changing them out one at a time

 

I'm going to start getting them when the incandescents are no longer available. We have a few fluorescents and those are shat, I'm skipping over those completely.

From what I've read, they can last up to 46 years!

 

They also said fluorescents were suppose to last like 5 times longer ha ha

I've seen em, they look great, lots of light. If they deliver like they say they do I'll buy em. I haven't heard anything bad yet other than the price.
