So last night I was taking the family to dinner and my o/d light started flashing. Trans seemed fine at this time. We left the restaurant and everything seemed fine until I almost got home. Light started blinking and it was shifting in and out of overdrive. Today I got a code for trans temp circuit low input.

Anyone have any idea what this means?

It was shifting fine but now its shifting kinda hard and too soon. Once in overdrive, the converter is locking and unlocking constantly.

you need to flush it , DROP THE PAN!!!!! change the fluid and everything at once, thats critical you do that with that kind of mileage, when the ford dealer changed my trans fluid the 1st time, they said there was some metal shavings in there, but not enough to worry about, they said they have seen more metal shavings in newer trucks with less miles, ive always changed mine like every 30,xxx miles, only 200 bucks, and its good to know its clean in there , the last time they changed it, there was none in there, you need to do that thomas, i know you know better man

Nope you never so that with the mileage I have. You basically wash the clutch fibers out of the fluid which will cause it to slip. This is why I do what I do. Fluid still looks new and has no burn smell to it. This leads me to believe that its electrical
