    but 213,000 is alot of miles, ive seen hundreds of trucks last that long with original everything, but we both know that dont mean ours will, im kinda nervous about putting those 35s on mine with 20s and no gearing....

    My truck has 213k trouble free miles, it don't matter to me if I have to build tranny. I'm not gonna complain but if I can save it, i would rather do that than burn it up.

    but good point, how much you think it would cost to build one, i havent dont any homework on that

    I dont have a clue. Id guess around 1500 in my area if I R&R it.

    I got mine built here with some upgraded internals for $500. I did the R&R. Good luck with it. I had no warning on mine when it went out both times.

    I read that last night before I posted this thread. Thanks for the help tho. It doesn't seem right that it needs to be built all of a sudden.
