Hey guys im fairly new to this forum but not to the off road side of trucks. I have seen fequent questions on size's and tires and types and this and thats and i haven't seen these sites posted up yet so im going to throw these out there for yall to use two sites i have used for years and years. First one is about at and mt tires and there are tons some are discontinued which i think is stupid that they remain on there but whatever here it is Off Road Tire Guide for Mud and All Terrain Tires - Offroaders.com The other website i want to throw out there for yall is a lot of different stuff ratio's on your axles and tire size cross overs.... 4Lo.com :: Metric Tire Size to Diameter in Inches Calculator On the left side of this web page if you look at the lists theres one called ideal ratio chart this thing is killer....check'em out Try these out they helped a lot of my friends out over the years...well worth the post i believe. Im in the wholesale tire business at Gateway Tire of Texas/ also known as Dunlop & Kyle INC. and i have used this from time to time for consumers. Hope this helps Happy tire hunting!!
yeah we sell those here just recieved 256 of them as a matter of fact, great lookin tire but i got a buddy with a F250 he put them on his truck and they only lasted him 28K he rotates ever 3-5K being in the tire business "so he says" i see his tires getting goofy wear all the time so i think he prolonged his rotation periods a hair to far. But i like those tires nice aggressive look wont ever buy good year again though not for me or my wife. I have the Firestone Destination MT's nice tire H*** great tire but i wish the sidewalls were more aggressive for there MT, I prefer the look of the toyo but the mileage of my Firestone MT i have 34000miles and probly another 15K to go anything over 30K in my book is okay 40K is prefferable but for a mud tire in general either is good. Go with an AT if you want silence and better mileage and better MPG.
Thanks IOWA id hoped it would help some people gather information and knowledge on an All Terrain and Mud Terrain tires cause the gods honest truth most people nowadays don't even understand the difference much less P metric and LT and ply rating load ratings and such....
