    [IMG]Got my amp in today!!!

But its broken... two corners are broken clean off so there's no way of mounting it on two corners. Talking to the seller now for another one. Literally didn't even unwrap it and the two pieces were broken off.

Poor packaging. And for deadener. There are a lot of good choices. Secondskin, knu kno knoise, stinger roadkill, fatmat, rattletrap, sound deadener showdown, etc..

Subs and wiring kit came in today. Gonna have to send back the amp and wait for another one. The subs came with this black spongy stuff that's got adhesive on one side like I'm aupposed to stick It somewhere??? Any ideas? uploadfromtaptalk1383337163802.jpg

    Here's the subs I got uploadfromtaptalk1383337182857.jpg

And here's the wiring diagram that came with the wiring kit. Probably going to just follow it unless theres a better way to do it. uploadfromtaptalk1383337228308.jpg

That is weatherstripping to put on the back of the sub where it goes on the box and where you screw the screws in. Helps to make sure you have no air leaks.

That sub looks pretty deep....is it? Everything looks good besides the amp.

that wiring diagram looks pretty simple, wish mine came that simple haha

The battery isn't connected to ground in the diagram.

They aren't that deep. They fit in my box just fine with plenty of room and my box is 5 and 7/8ths of an inch deep.

Hopefully ill get everything started next week when I can get this damn amp situation figured out.

Go take the ground wire off the truck's
negative battery post and see if it starts or if
    the radio comes on.

[IMG]Would i be ok to follow this schematic of wiring? Im about to get started on these speakers and subs but im not sure where to start. The part thats confusing me is turn on lead and where do i find the wires that connect front speakers and rear speakers? Or will i have to plug in another cable into the headunit that then runs into the amp?

"Remote Turn on Lead" is my RCA cable right? Back of head unit to sub.

I guess im just looking for a little wiring direction. Ive never done this so im kind of going in blindfolded. Ill check back in a little but for now im gonna get started lol
