Got some wires ran today and installed the subs in my box. I think I got all the hard stuff out of the way for the most part. Trying to hide the wires the best I can so I'm taking my time. Should have at LEAST the subs in and working tomorrow and hopefully ill get the speakers in between tomorrow and friday.

Hid the wires behind this piece of plastic the runs right under the wiper cowl. Thing was a ***** to get off and on. There was already a bunch of wires going up there so a few zipties and walaaaa no wires. [IMG][IMG]
I used to have a red wire for my hellas that ran across the top of the throttle body area. It was ugly looking and always annoyed me when I popped the hood.

    Oh yeah... [IMG][IMG]

If you're running new wires into your doors, you got the easy stuff done today.

Cant say for sure on the brand you got. But its a ***** to get through the grommet thing to the doors. You'll need something like a wire coat hangar to help get it through.

Well that's just great. Haha is that only for the front doors then? How hard are the back doors? I've never had the rear panels off.

I guess you wouldn't know, you had a rab :jester:

I'd assume rears are just as hard. Wont know till the low truck is out of storage.

Whats left of my 16 ga. 250ft. spool
    of speaker wire.

This spool has done both truck's speakers and three sets
of LED strobe lighting chassis length wiring.

When passing wires thru the door grommet
I used to unseat it from the door and the
    cab.

Makes it so much easier to pass wires thru
when ya can bunch the rubber up and squashed
together instead of trying to snake a wire thru
the entire length than when it's normally expanded.

Yah, not much fun when ya have to do all 4 doors
speaker wires thru grommets on a super cab.

Well got aome more done today. Cant do anymore until tomorrow. I have my battery cable and speaker wire for the subs ran where I need to. Battery cable is ran along drivers side step up plastic then under the carpet to under the middle front seat and speaker wire is ran from the middle front seat to the rear under the carpet and hooked up to the subs.

According to this I should run them with a 2 ohm load for the full 500w of power. They are 4 ohm subs. This is the paper from the subs... [IMG]

Tomorrows plans, ground the amp to the front seat bolt. Also I'm going to run the rca cables and remote turn on wire along the passenger side and under the carpet to the amp. I've read they need to be as far apart as possible to prevent interference? Not a big deal i just don't have time to take out the passeneger seat today. Then its just a matter of connecting all the wires to the amp.

Speakers will be my project next wed, thurs, and fri lol (days im off work)

These are specs of my amp.
