Lately the truck has been cranking and doesn't fire right away. About two seconds to crank then it fires. I was between starter or fuel. I turn key for five seconds then start and it fires so that's leaning fuel pump. How do I deff check fuel pump so I don't waste time and money on it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
After thinking about this. Are you saying it only takes a few seconds to start it at first????? If so thats pretty normal. If you are having to crank for 15+ seconds then i could see an issue. Normal for first start of the day or having sat for a long while. Of course its gonna fire right back up agmfter you turn it off cause of the pressure is still there. Pkus its cold this winter which makes gas less combustable
I have a lean code popping up to. The fuel filter was changed 1k miles ago with the plugs and air filter. I never had this problem when it was colder out and my auto tart worked. Now it doesn't work bc it doesn't crank long enough. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
